Hockey journalism is hard

Rosie DiManno, in the Toronto Star, trying to expand her readers' hockey vocabulary while reporting on Georges Laraque of the magical Edmonton Oilers:
What MacTavish didn't like, wouldn't joke about, was the mugging Laraque pantomimed by gesture and facial expression in a previous game, lording it over the prone pile of Duck that was vanquished fight opponent Todd Fedoruk. MacTavish publicly chided his own player afterward for an episode he fretted would get up Anaheim's nose, give them yet more reason to pick themselves off the map, as they indeed did.

Laraque was sufficiently cognizant of his own boner that he phoned Fedoruk to apologize.

A late-night call, no doubt. His other specialty.
(my emphasis)

C'mon now Rosie, there are kids reading. I'm not sure they know whether that word has other meanings in other contexts. Because I sure don't.
