Disasterous photo-op?

There was a striking dicrepancy between the CNN International report on the Bush visit to the New Orleans disaster zone, yesterday, and reports of the same event by German TV.
ZDF News reported that the president's visit was a completely staged event. Their crew witnessed how the open air food distribution point Bush visited in front of the cameras was torn down immediately after the president and the herd of 'news people' had left and that others which were allegedly being set up were abandoned at the same time.
The people in the area were once again left to fend for themselves, said ZDF.
If only there were a foreign entity to blame and bomb.

Is there any confirming evidence of this.

And how would Blanco know this? Was she there when Bush was? Apparently not. It sounds like partisan pettiness. And I suspect Blanco's on the defensive now, as she should be.
Well, it was reported by a German TV news crew.
I guess its your choice whether you believe it or not. I'm inclined to, since it was apparently reported by a respectable/reliable source (albeit in another language).
Or, you could continue doing Karl Rove's job.
Along with Rivka of Respectful of Otters, I address the German broadcast in my blog. It turns out that there was some unintentional misinformation in the post about the it that spread like wildfire. It was still a staged visit, but no food distribution points were staged.
I am inclined to believe that it is a fact that 90% of what ALL countries see from ALL politicians is "staged." Political leaders are much actors/actresses as they are government agents. Politics and government officials are like wrestiling... all fake and they depend on the naive to feed the farse.
If you're democrat you think the republicans are fakes and liars and if you're republican, you think the demo's are fakes and liars. If they are a politician, be it federal, state or local or a whole other country... PR employees control what you see, not the individual politician no matter what their political party, level or nationality.
