Goldberg gets schooled, as do I
So I was wrong about my Goldberg prediction. No snide references to Stewart's liberalism--even though Jon showcased it during last night's interview, becoming engaged and much more ferocious than usual.
Bernie actually complimented Jon a few times, but Jon dissected his bullshit absolutely beautifully. It was Stewart at his best--and that's good, baby. (Crooks and Liars has the video.)
I said I would buy his book if I was wrong, but I won't, because his entire laughably horrible, McCarthyite list is online. And I don't think his insights on what makes Paul Krugman (who has been right about everything) the eighth biggest screwer-upper of America are worth $25.95.
On second though, I really would like to know what makes Paul Krugman the eighth biggest screwer-upper of America.
(Here's a guess: he's liberal, a real liberal, and an effective one at that? THE HORROR.)

That was a great interview. Loved the jokes about a "bigot TV network". Goldberg looked like he knew he was getting taken to task by Jon.
