Paul Jackson, amid Canadian political turbulence, still has Hollywood on his mind

Aren't we through whining about Hollywood?

Apparently Paul Jackson slept through the sludge of Hollywood-hating opinionation eminating from the conservative cause over the last few years. There's been a shitload of it, as anyone who has read a paper, conservative blog or news site knows.

So why is Canada's "Sun" newspaper chain columnist Paul Jackson still wasting an entire column telling us how little Hollywood opinions matter?

Skip the drudgery if you want -- I'll give you the column in three words: Hollywood is STOOPID! Those people's opinion doesn't matter -- only Paul Jackson's does. Only he, a political columnist for a large Canadian newspaper chain, can come into work in 2005 during a time of political duress in Canadian parliament, and proceed with writing a column about "Cher, Sean Penn, Alec Baldwin, George Clooney, Martin Sheen, Jessica Lange, Woody Harrelson, Barbra Streisand, Susan Sarandon, Julia Roberts, Ed Asner [and] the Dixie Chicks".

The Calgary Sun titled this column "Utter Nonsense", which is quite fitting.

The Edmonton Sun headlined it "Who Cares What Hollywood Thinks?", which begs the even bigger question:

Who gives a fuck about what Peter Jackson thinks about what Hollywood thinks? Especially months (if not years) after everyone and their half-brother has already spouted off on the "issue"?
