Simple question about Hillary Clinton

Has she ever said, or even implied that she would run for president in 2008? Or anytime, for that matter?

How has it gotten to the point taht if anyone else runs in 2008, it'll be a huge surprise?

(Personally, I'm hoping for Wesley Clark or Harold Ford Jr.)
