CNN's 'reporter' Ed Henry says Democrats trying to "score political points" not once but THREE TIMES in single report
Saw one of the most biased reports I've seen in a while from supposed reporter Ed Henry on CNN's Inside Politics. Here are some choice tidbits from the transcript.
Judy Woodruff asks another question, and amazingly, Ed Henry goes for the hat trick:
Unbelievable. This is CNN, "the most trusted name in news". I'm actually glad we're about to get Fox News in Canada -- they might be a refreshing change of pace.
The third problem that Republicans have is they now want to fix it. They want to take that tax provision out. But Democrats are refusing to let them fix it.So Republicans want to "fix" a problem, but the Democrats are just "refusing to let them fix it". There's some objective reporting for you. Then...
The Democrats today basically blocking unanimous consent on an effort by Republicans to take this offensive provision out that both sides want out. The reason that Democrats are not letting it out is because they want to score some political points right now.Very soon thereafter:
As I mentioned earlier, they're trying to get to the fixing. But Democrats are trying to score points here.Again, the Republicans are trying to "fix" the problem - and again, Henry nonchalantly states that the Democrats are trying to score political points. Just like that.
Judy Woodruff asks another question, and amazingly, Ed Henry goes for the hat trick:
Democrats also used this pro forma session today to try to also score political points on the 9/11 bill.Ed Henry then twice mentioned Democratic "hypocrisy". How many times do you hear reporters using that actual word to describe a political party's actions? How often has Ed Henry described Republicans with that word? And how many times has he -- even once, ever, let alone three times in a single report -- pointed out Republicans trying to "score political points"?
Unbelievable. This is CNN, "the most trusted name in news". I'm actually glad we're about to get Fox News in Canada -- they might be a refreshing change of pace.
