All Signs Point To John Kerry, President
After months of furious campaigning, much deception and propaganda dissemination from the Republican Machine and their corporate media allies, it looks like John Kerry will win tomorrow's election. All signs point to such an occurence, and thus Counterbias is proud to project a John Kerry victory. Here are just seven signs signalling tomorrow's change of American leadership: One: Redskins lose! It doesn't mean much, but this predictor hasn't been wrong since 1936. Two: Red Sox win! How coincidental is this, with John Kerry's Boston favorite pulling off the previously unimaginable? You could've said the same about Kerry himself just one year ago. Three: The heads of online Bush-lovers are exploding, coming close to realizing the reality that will come in less than twenty-four hours. One member of the Sean Hannity forum writes, "Polls of young and new voters show Kerry up by big numbers, 58 - 40. This is the element I believe the polls have been missing all along. Kerry will get a 2-4 pt bounce in the only poll that counts, the one that happens tomorrow. Could be ugly if they show up, which I'm confident they will. We survived 8 yrs of Clinton, we'll survive 4 of Kerry." Make that eight. Another writes, "I also think John Kerry is going to win. So I'm prepping myself for one of the worst days of my life tomorrow...Im praying tonight that Bush wins but I just dont think he has a big enough lead." You'd better pray hard, sir. Four: Voter turn-out will be the difference. Thank God for the youth vote - when a leader comes along as drastically, demonstrably pathetic as Bush and his horrendous administration, it tends to bring the younger crowd out to make a difference. They'll show, thanks to Bush's egregious policies and the ever important get-out-the-vote movement. Five: The mainstream media, previously playing Bush's slim leads up whenever possible and unable to acknowledge that John Kerry just might win, are coming to a mass realization: Kerry will win. This is a clear signal, because they wouldn't suggest the situation moving towards Kerry's favor if it wasn't. Six: NewsMax, a Kerry-bashing, hate-filled right-wing publication, actually admitted - the day before the election - that Kerry would win. "John Kerry - sitting atop the surfboard on this anti-Bush wave - will be the President-Elect", John LeBoutillier wrote. Seven: Tucker Carlson thinks Kerry will win. As I wrote in my blog, "[Tucker's] a complete jerkoff - a douchebag to the Nth degree - when playing his little role on Crossfire. But when out of that position, he resumes the role of a human being, and a pretty fair one at that. Somewhat quite surprisingly, Tucker thinks Kerry will get 51.5% of the popular vote, 278 electoral college votes to Bush's 260." Whatever your signal of choice, it most likely points to a Kerry victory tomorrow. Not to offend Bush's Evangelical Christian base, but thank God for that. |
